The original formula for our Herbal Steam was given to us by the Abbot of Nai Harn Temple in Phuket, which had been used for generations at Nai Harn.

The first King of the Chakri Dynasty inscribed this Knowledge on the walls of Wat Po Temple in Bangkok so that this precious knowledge would not be lost to the world. We have taken the formulas of Thai Massage from Wat PO and chosen the techniques that are safe and easy for any condition of the body. You will walk away feeling relaxed and refreshed with all your aches and pains relieved.

Many places offer Thai Massage that is not adapted to the lack of flexibility of the modern body. If the therapist is not properly trained, the guests will walk away with more pain than they walked in with! All of the Therapists at the Hideaway are trained in the authentic ancient Tradition of Thai Massage as established by the first King of the Chakri Dynasty.

Although our primary treatment is still the Herbal Aromatherapy Sauna and Thai VIP Sala Aromatherapy Massage, we have expanded our treatments to include many traditional Temple methods that are more than 1000 years old. While all the other Spas are offering International Spa Treatments, you will find our Spa Treatments to be uniquely Thai and are available in our VIP facilities or private "Salas" (open-air treatment facilities). We are proud to be offering the special gifts of Thailand to both the local community and the visitors from aboard.
